Pokeball Granny Square

I realized as I was getting ready to post this pattern that somewhere along the way I lost a blog post during the site issues talking about the Leisure Arts booklet 99 Granny Squares to Crochet. I am going to have to rewrite that and get it back up. In the meantime…

For my 356 Days of Granny Square project I am having problems finding squares I want to make. There are a lot of squares out there, probably enough to keep anyone busy for years, but sometimes I just can’t get excited about anything I find. I decided to have a go at creating my own pattern and this is what I came up with.

I started with a basic circle in a square granny square pattern and modified it as I went. This is the first pattern I have written so hopefully I haven’t made any mistakes copying it down. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
